ABOUT MARK

The environments we create, and the ways in which we seek to surround ourselves with people and things, create our reality. My work explores expression and emotion through color, forms, and composition - things in our lives that immediately call up a feeling. I worked as a commercial art director for many years, creating designs with bold colors and straight edges. I’ve been a digital artist and have created art on the Mac since the 1980s. In recent years I started painting using many of the same processes and concepts. My work draws upon my personal experiences and visual memories to evoke a sense of peace and beauty in your surroundings.
